Seeing these images, it’s hard to imagine not thinking yellow is naturally one of the best colors for weddings. It’s cheerful, happy, and photographs so well! But, after doing this wedding at Troutbeck we are ready for our next yellow palette. All images by KT Merry.
Yellow works in all season, especially in the floral materials.
And, of course in the fashion. Here, yellow blends with other shades for this fall wedding.
Here, we transform the lush green garden setting with simple pops of yellow fabric. From pillows, to the bar covers, a little goes a long way.
Also, a cake is another spot for yellow to shine. Not only here, with the yellow flowers, but could also be lovely with a shade of yellow icing. Cake by Nine Cakes.
And, obviously, in our favorite spot, the decor. Yellow is brought in to trim and anchor the white linens. Yellow scalloped napkins are embroidered for the head table. And, yellow Estelle colored glass coupes are a fun take on water glasses.
Finally, toning down the yellow for a late night after party, worked for a moodier feel.
